You deserve more than "wait 6 weeks and don’t lift anything heavier than your baby."
You deserve more than a phone call for your postpartum checkup.
MAGGIE
2nd birth / 1st C-section, 3 weeks postpartum
I learned SO MUCH! I am 3 weeks postpartum from a very long labor which ended in a C-section. It's mind blowing to me that I was not given this information in the hospital or after discharge. Because of your program I feel like I now know what to do to best help my body recover. Cannot thank you enough!
You need a structured, week-by-week C-section recovery plan that starts the moment you are ready — even in the hospital. Everything laid out in the right order, at the right time. Just click the video, watch it, and follow along.
You need gentle, safe techniques starting Day 1 to manage C-section scar pain, reduce swelling, and begin minimizing your C-section shelf. Because the earlier you start, the better your results.
You need a C-section rehabilitation plan that works around a newborn, broken sleep, and zero free time. Every exercise in this program takes 5 minutes or less — from your hospital bed, your couch, with your baby in your arms.
Here is what you get when you follow a real C-section recovery plan — designed by a Certified Athletic Therapist who has spent 20+ years making sure Cesarean mamas are never left without answers.
You asked your OB every question you could think of. You Googled at 2am. You joined the Facebook groups. And still — nobody has given you a straight answer about what is actually happening to your body after C-section, or what to do about it. You deserve real answers.
Before major knee surgery, an athlete will have spent weeks, even months, getting stronger, practicing the exercises she’ll need right on Day 1, so that she is set up for optimal recovery. No surprises. C-section requires the same preparation.
You can barely get out of bed. You're terrified to touch your C-section scar. Everything hurts, your core feels disconnected, your body looks completely foreign. You're lying there in the dark with a newborn thinking: is this really my new normal?
You've seen the photos — the overhang, the apron belly, the swollen tummy above your scar. Is it permanent? Can it be prevented? Nobody on your care team has mentioned it once. “I wish someone would just tell me what to do. I'd do it.”
I've got the solution.
This online program takes you from anxious and unprepared to confident and in control.
Don’t wait for the hospital's permission to help yourself heal.
Designed for pregnant women having a planned Cesarean (C-section) AND moms 0–6 weeks postpartum. Start before surgery. Continue after. One program.
This is NOT a generic postpartum workout program. It is a therapeutic rehabilitation program -- designed by a C-section Athletic Therapist with 20+ years of working with moms just like you.
5 minutes a day - C-section recovery results you can see & feel immediately.
Athletes after knee surgery start rehab on Day 1. They do not wait until a “6-week checkup”. A C-section is no different. It is major abdominal surgery — your C-section scar, your core, and your pelvic floor all need guided rehabilitation for a full recovery.
Jessica
36 weeks pregnant, planned Cesarean
This is the only comprehensive Cesarean recovery program I have come across. It encourages me to know that I don't have to go through the intense trauma I went through with my previous C-sections because I now have all the information I need to recover fully.

planned Cesarean with 1 week notice
I had actually bought this program when I was still pregnant. All the recovery after was the best part of this whole experience. It made me feel empowered and in control in at least one phase of this journey.

Rosie
first-time-mom, 2 weeks postpartum, rugby player
I had planned for a vaginal birth and recovery… I was so unprepared. At only two weeks postpartum I could feel the scar tissue building. The physical rehab and massage techniques will go a long way to helping me get back to playing rugby one day!
It is not selfish to take care of yourself. It is not a privilege. It is a right.

Your C-Section Athletic Therapist
In 2005, long before I became a mom, a good friend had an emergency C-section.
She was devastated. As a national-level sprinter, her body had never ‘failed her’. Determined to get better as soon as she could, she went for an ‘easy 5km run’ the very day her doctor discharged her 6 weeks after having her baby.
“You’re good to go,” they’d told her, without asking her anything about her exercise background.
She ended up with torn abdominals in severe pain on the side of the road.
This made me furious. I couldn’t believe that this was the standard of care provided to women after major abdominal surgery. Turns out unfortunately, this story is not unique - around the world, over two decades later.
That’s why this C-section recovery program exists.
Since then I've helped thousands of C-section moms get from lying in that hospital bed, terrified, with no guidance and no plan, to feeling confident, strong and back to physical activity in the way she loves best.
I'm in your corner. Always.

The community was more important than I could've imagined. I really appreciated the opportunity to interact with other moms, ask questions and get exercise cueing in real time.
I've had two sections and no one has ever spoken to me about recovery. What to expect, how to help, anything. I feel so much more empowered just knowing these things.
Ready to start? Here's how:
A C-section shelf (also called C-section pooch, apron belly, or overhang) is the appearance of the belly after surgery where the tissue pushes out/over the external incision. It is caused primarily by swelling, scar tissue, and weakened/stretched core muscles, and varies from Body to Body. It's extremely common — but with the right compression, scar massage, and core retraining from Day 1, many moms find it can change significantly.
Pain experiences vary enormously between individuals. C-section recovery involves surgical pain plus the demands of early newborn care. The key difference is that C-section recovery is a surgical rehab process and for the most part, vaginal birth is not.
Week 1–2: Pain management, rest, gentle movement, beginning scar desensitization, early core breathing. Week 3–4: Increasing movement, continued scar massage. Week 5–6: Gradual return to daily activities, progressing scar massage, progressive core retraining. The “Stage 1” program gives you a complete week-by-week plan.
We recommend wearing your C-section belly binder or postpartum belly wrap as close to 24 hours a day as possible for the first 6 weeks, but every Body is different. The critical window is those first 6 weeks when swelling is highest and scar tissue is actively forming.
The “Stage 1” program is designed for 0–6 weeks postpartum. If you're 7+ weeks and have been discharged by your doctor, our Stage 2 program is your best fit. Check it out by clicking here.
Some private insurance plans and health care spending accounts in Canada and internationally may cover “Athletic Therapy” as part of postpartum care. Receipts are provided for reimbursement. If in doubt, check with your insurance provider first.
No. It is safe - and necessary - to start C-section recovery exercises before your 6-week check-up. “Stage 1” is a therapeutic rehabilitation program designed by a C-section Athletic Therapist with 20+ years experience working with C-section moms. The techniques are safe, evidence-based, and designed for the post-surgical body from Day 1. HOWEVER - if you have specific medical complications from your surgery, always consult your care provider.
Yes. First - check with your doctor the make sure you don’t have an infection. If not, start this program immediately. C-section pain in the first 6 weeks is real, expected, and manageable with the right guidance. “Stage 1” starts with the gentlest possible techniques -- scar desensitization, breathing, alignment -- that you can do from your hospital bed or couch, even on your worst pain days. You do not have to ‘feel better’ to start. Starting is what helps you feel better.
The monthly option ($88 CAD/month) exists for exactly this reason. For the cost of a few coffees a month, you get the full program -- every module, every live class, full community access - for as long as you’re enrolled. Consider this: a single physiotherapy appointment is $150-$200 CAD minimum. “Stage 1: C-section Prep and C-section Shelf Recovery Program” gives you 20+ years of C-section Athletic Therapy expertise for less than two appointments. Investing in your recovery now costs far less, physically and financially, than managing chronic C-section pain, scar complications, or core dysfunction later.
