You're 1 year postpartum — or maybe it's been 5. Maybe 15.
You've tried things. Or maybe you haven't tried anything yet, because you didn't know where to start.
Either way — your body still doesn't feel like yours.
And you're done waiting for it to change on its own.
"I wake up at 5am to squeeze in my exercises before the kids get up. I do my scar massage while my three-year-old watches cartoons and the baby naps. I'm doing EVERYTHING right. But when I look in the mirror? Nothing. No change. I feel like I'm wasting my time, my money, my efforts. And I have NO time to waste with two kids."
— A private client, mama of two, 1 year postpartum.
"I've had two sections and no one has ever spoken to me about recovery. What to expect, how to help, anything. At my 6-week check-in, I didn't even see a professional. It was a phone call."
— Rebecca, 2x C-section mom.
"My second baby was a VBAC. And I've had a really bad shelf and a really bad core weakness ever since. I kind of lost hope because even though I've been working out for years, it's not really improving."
— Emily, 3 and 5 years postpartum, 5 years since her Cesarean, 3 years since her VBAC
Maybe you've tried everything — physio, Pilates, scar massage, the gym — and nothing has fully worked. Or maybe you've tried nothing at all, because you never had the time and didn't know where to start. Either way, you're scared this is just your new normal.
You've thought about a tummy tuck. Maybe even seriously. You want a way to change your C-shelf without surgery — but you don't know if that's even possible anymore.
Your back hurts. Or maybe it’s sore - but it’s all the time. You've stopped mentioning it because at this point it just feels like part of your life.
Your core still feels weak. It's been years and you still can't do a sit-up. You can't trust your body to brace, to lift, to do “whatever you want to” without worrying about getting hurt.
Your C-section shelf is still there. The “Cesarean overhang”, “mummy tummy”, “apron belly”. Whatever name you give it — it hasn't gone anywhere, and neither has the lumpy, stuck scar tissue underneath it that nobody warned you about.
I'm ready for something different
Most “other recovery options” are missing at least one of these three pillars. “Stage 3” is built on all three — so that results are possible for you.
This proven C-Section Shelf and Recovery Methodology was developed over 20+ years and thousands of C-section mamas. It isn't in any textbook. I couldn't find it anywhere, so I built it.
Introducing:
Believe it or not, all of these are connected. And there is a reason nothing has fully resolved — not because your body is broken, but because most rehabilitation approaches are missing the three things that actually create change after the first year.

This is NOT for you if:
You are 6 weeks to 12 months postpartum and haven't done focused rehab yet. Please start with [Stage 2 here →]
You are 0–6 weeks postpartum. Please start with [Stage 1 here →].
You are looking for a weight-loss or general fitness program. Stage 3 is rehabilitation — not a workout class. You will feel stronger and your appearance may shift, but that is the outcome of treating the root cause, not the goal itself.
You are looking for a guarantee. I can't promise you a flat stomach or to “get rid of the C-section Shelf” entirely. BUT, I can promise you a proven methodology, a community that shows up, and a program built on 20+ years of real clinical work.
You prefer a short, self-paced program you can complete in 10 days. The [10-Day C-Section Shelf Challenge →] was built for you.
You want 1:1 care with Janette directly. That is the [Concierge Cesarean Recovery Program →].
You want an ongoing recovery membership with live classes, a growing online library, and a community that keeps you accountable.
You are ready to commit at least 15 minutes a day, most days of the week, to your own recovery.
You want to be able to BEND, TWIST, SQUAT, LUNGE, PUSH, PULL, and RUN — with a body that is strong, stable, and low injury-risk after your C-section.
You have tried other programs and hit a plateau — and you want a methodology that addresses the root cause, not just the symptoms.
You have done Stage 2 and you are 6+ months postpartum and ready for what comes next.
You just completed the 10-Day C-Section Shelf Challenge and you want to keep going.
You are 1 year postpartum or more — whether that's 14 months or 14 years.
The women in Stage 3 range from 1 year to 19+ years postpartum. Every shape. Every size. Every scar type. Results are possible for every one of them.

Over nearly 25 years the words I have heard too often from C-section mamas are "I was never told I needed to do anything about my C-section."
Around the world, women are discharged from their healthcare systems without the C-section recovery care they need and deserve — and left to figure out the rest alone. Years later, they’re resigned to chronic pain and conditions that were preventable, and still changeable.
“Stage 3” exists because of those women. The ones who tried nothing because nobody told them to. And the ones who tried everything — physio, Pilates, massage, the gym — and still didn't get the results they needed, because nobody gave them the right methodology.
Here's what I know as a Canadian Certified Athletic Therapist treating every kind of injury: there is one rehab methodology that WORKS. It doesn't matter if it's a knee, a shoulder, and ankle. Massage, then immediate movement plus consistent frequency. I have used this approach with everyday mamas and with the Canadian National Women's Rugby Team. It works.
Your C-section is no different. And it is not too late.
Always in your corner,
No. The women in Stage 3 range from 1 year to 19+ years postpartum. Fascial tissue responds to the right work regardless of how much time has passed. The C-section shelf is not permanent. Your body was never broken — it was just waiting for the right methodology.
The 10-Day Challenge gives you the foundation — one fascial massage, four core exercises, 15 minutes a day for 10 days. It was your first session. Stage 3 is the ongoing program. New routines regularly, live classes with Janette, a progressive methodology, and a community that keeps you accountable month after month. The Challenge gave you a taste. Stage 3 is where major work happens.
No. Stage 3 is designed to be your starting point if you are 1 year postpartum or more. If you have completed the 10-Day Challenge, you will feel the progression immediately. If you haven't, you'll receive everything you need from the live classes and online library to start from scratch.
If you are 6+ months postpartum AND you have completed the Stage 2 program, yes — you are ready for Stage 3. If you are earlier than 6 months postpartum, or haven't done focused C-section rehab yet, please start with Stage 1 (0–6 weeks PP) or Stage 2 (6 weeks–18 months PP). The right program at the right time changes everything.
The online library is available immediately after you enroll, so you can begin learning right away. Live classes begin only a few times throughout the year. Each cohort progresses together through the live sessions, while the online library remains available throughout your membership.
Every class is recorded. You will have access to the replay within 24 hours of the live session. Many members watch the replays the same week and still feel the community energy in the comments and follow-up. That said — the women who attend live tend to see the fastest results. If being in the room matters to you, show up live whenever you can.
In the absence of major medical complications, yes. The C-Birth Method adapts to every body — keloid scars, vertical incisions, multiple C-sections, every size, every fitness level. If you have a complex surgical history (hysterectomy, bowel surgery, accreta, hernia repair), the methodology still applies — your experience inside the live classes will simply be more personalised. Unsure? Message us at ask@janetteyee.com before you join.
Stage 3 is designed to complement your existing care, not replace it. The C-Birth Method addresses the fascial and core-retraining layer that most providers — including excellent physios and trainers — aren't specifically trained in for C-section recovery. Many women in Stage 3 bring what they learn directly to their other practitioners. Their practitioners tend to notice the difference.
If you are looking for personalized, individual rehabilitation directly with Janette, that is the Concierge Cesarean Recovery program. [Learn more about CCR here →]
No. Stage 3 is a rehabilitation membership — and like any rehabilitation program, results require consistency and time. We have kept the monthly price as accessible as possible so that the commitment feels low-risk. Cancel anytime after your first month with no penalty.
